Miami Beach Health Foundation Benefits From Poker Tournament at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Miami Beach Health Foundation received $40,000 as the beneficiary of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s first Charity Poker Tournament. Music legend Barry Gibb was a part of the official launch of the tournament as co-chair of the Miami Beach Health Foundation Board of Directors.

Gibb’s call to “shuffle and deal” launched a three-day tournament, where even foundation members Barry Gibb, Linda Gibb, Jeff Mandell, Therese Gibb, and Ashley Gibb got in on the fun to helped to spread the word about Miami Beach Health Foundation.

"This event was extraordinary! This generous donation will go towards our continued efforts to provide quality, affordable health care and support services for the underinsured and uninsured in Miami-Dade County," stated Kathryn Abbate, CEO of Miami Beach Community Health Center, "We cannot thank the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino enough for this incredible opportunity."
