Foundation Board Member Health Care Attorney Everett Wilson Joins Akerman and its National Health Law Practice
MIAMI — J. Everett Wilson, a member of the Board of Directors of the Miami Beach Health Foundation, has joined the Miami office of Akerman Senterfitt as a Shareholder of the firm.
For almost 20 years, Mr. Wilson has successfully represented health care professionals and other providers in all types of licensing and reimbursement disputes and business issues specific to the health care industry.
Joining him were health care attorneys Michael Gennett and Marisa Rodriguez. Messrs. Wilson and Gennett and Ms. Rodriguez joined Akerman from Shutts & Bowen, LLP where they were members of the Miami office's Health Law Practice Group, which was chaired by Mr. Wilson.
Health care has been an important growth area for Akerman. With these additions in Miami, the firm now has 25 full-time health care attorneys
